Powder coating of aluminium profiles
The lacquering process consists of coating the surface of the aluminium through the application of a layer of powder coating.
Powder Coating Plants
4 lacquer plants: two horizontal and two vertical.
Horizontal powder coating Capabilities
- Maximum profile length: 14 m
- Maximum profile weight: 15 kg/m
- Maximum dimensions according to length 14 x 2 x 0.65 m
- Maximum dimensions according to height: 7 x 2.65 x 0.65 m
- Maximum dimensions in aluminium sheet: 4 x 1.3 m
Vertical powder coating Capabilities
- Maximum profile length: 7.5 m
- Maximum profile weight: 6 kg/m
- Maximum weight for wood-effect profile 6 kg/m
Powder coating Process
To achieve a perfect surface finish of the aluminium profile, this lacquering process goes through several phases.
- Pre-treatment, which improves the quality of the product with a cleaning process in which several washes are carried out in water with soda, with which the pore of the aluminium is opened.
- Acid bath to neutralize and prevent rust.
- Drying of the surface of the aluminum profile.
- Profile spraying: application of powder paint on the profiles.
- Hardening: The paint is melted, matured and fixed on the surface of the aluminium profile in a polymerisation oven.
Powder coating aluminium finishes
- Color range: unlimited (matte, gloss, rough textures,...).
- Different finishes: RAL chart, textured, metallic, special, antibacterial.
Quality certificates
- QUALICOAT, SEA-SIDE & QUALIDECO.
Powder coating wood effect
Several solutions are offered to achieve a wood-effect finish taken to aluminium, achieving an appearance close to reality.
Capabilities
Maximum profile length : 7300 m
For aluminium profiles and sheets: 4 x 1.3 m
Solutions
- Sublimation: The aluminium profile is lacquered in a base colour. It is then wrapped in a sheet containing the wood grain and, by applying heat and subjecting it to vacuum, the grain of the sheet adheres to the surface of the lacquer. It allows you to obtain from smooth, textured finishes and different types of wood.
- Laminate: A natural sheet of wood is glued to the surface of the aluminium profile. It allows you to obtain real finishes with less wood.
- Foiled: A vinyl sheet containing the wood finish is glued to the surface of the aluminium profile. It allows you to obtain from smooth and rough finishes.
