"Technical director of your industrial projects"
I started working at Extrugasa in the machining section in warehouses, but in a few months I moved to the technical office team of industry, first as a draughtsman and then as a project technician.
Currently, I am the technical director of the industrial team. My work routine is not systematic and I am constantly in contact with clients from various sectors and teams of the company, which allows me to learn a lot from them while growing professionally.
Beyond the work aspect, in my free time I like to practice sports and to optimize my time, I have my own gym at home, and I also attend Latin dance classes. In addition, in summer, at the end of my day I take the opportunity to go to the beach.

"I am in charge of managing the maintenance of the plant"
After arriving at Extrugasa to do a training internship, I was hired by the company to be part of the maintenance team, taking care of the documentary part of the plant and environmental management.
I really enjoy what I do and even more valuing the human factor that I am surrounded by, which makes the day to day easier and that they are always willing to help. In addition, due to the characteristics of my position, I am in constant training, due to the environmental transformation of Extrugasa infrastructure.
Previously, I combined my working day with sports, such as swimming or running, but for some time now I have combined it with my family life, as I focus on enjoying, mainly, the new member of the family, my youngest daughter.

A few years ago it was not common for a woman to hold a position as a manager in an industrial company, so I am even more proud of the position I have and hope that my story can serve as motivation for others within the sector.
A whole professional life at Extrugasa makes me consider myself part of the company, since for me it is just another family.
In my free time I like to disconnect with recreational activities, linked to nature and sport, such as hiking or cycling and, during holiday periods, I take the opportunity to travel as I love to discover new places.

I have been working at Extrugasa all my life, so my only career has been developed entirely here.
After 40 years dedicating myself to the recording and control of accounting movements, and on the verge of retirement, I am satisfied with the experience acquired over the years and that I continue to like my profession in its entirety.
I have been a participant in its changes, evolution and growth and, today, I can say that I feel like one more of the Extrugasa family.
One of the habits of disconnection is to go for a walk after finishing my shift, which has always contributed to me being able to do physical activity for the benefit of my health, since I spend many hours sitting.

"Speaking German helps me relate better to customers"
I started working at Extrugasa in the logistics warehouse and, due to the characteristics of this position, in a short time I got to know all the facilities and corners of the company. This helped me to fill a vacancy as an order manager shortly afterwards and, thanks to my German origins, my mother tongue allowed me to become an industrial salesperson. Today, I am in charge of customer relations in northern Germany, Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands.
Because of the values of Extrugasa, close and of family origin, and being able to communicate in German, she did not contemplate stopping working here.
Being here helps me to reconcile my family life, since at the end of my working day I can dedicate myself to the care and enjoyment of my two children, playing with them, going for walks, cycling and even sharing their extracurricular activities with them.

Aluminium is our core business, so the profiles we look for can be broad:
