La Dianita, first Passivhaus in LATAM

Architect Paolo Massacesi, at the beginning of 2021 and despite the pandemic, began construction of the first PassivHaus in LATAM, “La Dianita”, named in honor of Paolo’s mother. For the architect, it is a special project and hard at the same time, both personally and professionally, because of all the inconveniences he has encountered throughout the execution of the work.

Paolo Massacesi's link to aluminum

Paolo has always been involved in the world of aluminum carpentry, as his family owns Aluminio Dobuti.
Following this inertia, he trained as an architect and specialized in enclosure systems and aluminum carpentry, which led him to travel to Europe to evolve in this sector.
It was on this trip that he had direct contact with the Extrugasa team, who were his father’s clients and who helped him in his professional career.
